Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a contract with a client in Atlanta, GA / New York, NY (Hybrid). Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows technologies and Active Directory to effectively manage end-user computing environments.
Rate Range: $49/hour to 56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Manage and maintain end-user computing environments, including Microsoft Windows technologies and Active Directory.
- Provide technical support for assistive technologies such as Microsoft Narrator, Magnify, Read Aloud, and Zoom Text Read Write.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with developers, integration engineers, and third‑party vendors to support system integration and service delivery.
- Document incidents and resolutions accurately using tools like Service Now, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and certifications, recommending improvements to enhance accessibility and system performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in system administration and infrastructure support.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Windows technologies, Active Directory, and End User Computing (EUC).
- Experience supporting assistive technologies such as Microsoft Narrator, Magnify, Read Aloud, and Zoom Text Read Write.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
