A technology-driven organization in the home services space is evolving its engineering platform to support scale, resiliency, and automation across critical systems. We're hiring a Senior Dev Ops Engineer who brings a strong foundation in Java development and has since grown into a Dev Ops role—someone who understands both application internals and the infrastructure that supports them. This is a hands‑on position with high visibility across teams, ideal for someone who can bridge development and operations while driving forward Azure‑based modernization efforts.
You’ll play a central role in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, improving system observability, and enabling seamless communication across distributed services. The ideal candidate will bring both deep technical skill and the creativity to evolve systems in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment.
Required Skills & Experience5+ years in infrastructure, Dev Ops, or platform engineering roles, with prior experience as a Java software engineer
Proven ability to support and optimize Java applications in production environments
Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure cloud services and scripting/automation for deployment and systems management
Experience designing or refining CI/CD pipelines for Java‑based services
Familiarity with application performance monitoring, incident response, and postmortem practices
Background in mentoring engineers or setting Dev Ops best practices across teams
Hands‑On Engineering: 70%
