Lead SAP Engineer – WMS Integration

We are seeking a seasoned Lead SAP Engineer with extensive expertise in SAP ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrations.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical and functional knowledge of SAP integration frameworks, particularly IDOC processing, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with proven experience in ensuring inventory synchronization between ERP and WMS platforms.

This role requires a hands‑on leader capable of resolving critical issues and driving continuous improvement in integration processes.

• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP‑to‑WMS integrations, ensuring data accuracy and seamless system communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IDOC failures, mapping issues, and integration configuration errors.
• Investigate and resolve inventory synchronization discrepancies between ERP and WMS systems.
• Monitor integration jobs, queues, and IDOC workflows to proactively prevent failures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT and business teams to deliver robust integration solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentoring to junior engineers and analysts.
• Document integration setups, troubleshooting methods, and resolution procedures for long‑term knowledge retention.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to enhance system stability.

• 15+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on integration and WMS connectivity.
• Expertise in IDOC structures, ALE configuration, and error handling.
• Strong understanding of inventory management flows and ERP‑WMS synchronization processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP modules relevant to warehouse and logistics operations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration scenarios.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of working across IT and business teams.

• Exposure to leading WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, High Jump, SAP EWM).
• Familiarity with middleware, APIs, or event‑driven integration frameworks.
• Experience in global distribution, retail, or high‑volume warehouse operations.
