Impiricus is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites that enhance product reliability, delivery speed, and overall quality. You will lead the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle—combining automated and manual validation techniques to test complex applications, identify defects, analyze data patterns, and ensure secure, compliant software in the healthcare domain. By integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Scrum teams, you will help drive continuous improvement, strengthen release stability, and deliver high‑quality, user‑centered software that supports innovation in healthcare technology.
Duties/ Responsibilities Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests (unit, API, integration, E2E).
- Write and execute automated and manual tests; analyze logs, metrics, and defects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and testing strategies.
- Document frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics.
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of quality software.
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to align on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure software compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands‑on proven experience in software QA with a focus on writing automation test cases, preferably in the health tech industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks.
Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting. - Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR). (Preferred)
The base salary range for this role is $110,.
