Position: Human Resources Manager JN -022026-170887

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a growing, people-centric organization supporting under 600 non-union employees. This role serves as a trusted partner to leaders and employees alike. The ideal candidate is a collaborative HR leader with strong generalist experience, excellent judgment, and a natural ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or manager-level role
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring an HR team member
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with managers and senior leaders
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting a distributed or operational workforce preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in an airport environment
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day HR operations while overseeing and developing an HR Generalist
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters
  • Manage employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and sound judgment
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and HR policies
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
