HR Operations at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an HCM Specialist I.

What Will You Do
This position is responsible for effectively processing, maintaining, and updating employee data for the HCM System & OneUSG, with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
- Performs the following transactions in OneUSG:
Hires, Terminations, Reporting Changes, Create Positions. - Performs verification of employment, sends out separation notices Form DOL-800
- Serves as 1st level responder to emails and phone inquiries, reviews and responds to all inquiries in the hcm email accounts.
- Audit and verify data entered in the HCM system.
- Run queries in the HCM to reconcile various transactions against data entered in job bank.
- Other duties as assigned.
NOTE
:
This position is located 100% on GSU’s main campus in Downtown Atlanta.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree and one year of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Notary Public or able to become certified within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of University System of Georgia (USG) or State of Georgia, Human Resources experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with visitors and team members.
