In this role, you'll be a key partner managing HR strategic initiatives and executing core HR functions. You will be responsible for benefits administration, payroll and regulatory payroll reporting, and HRIS optimization. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with hands‑on experience overseeing payroll and benefits administration with an in‑depth knowledge of performance management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities HR Business Partnership- Build strong, trusted partnerships with internal leadership and employees across the organization.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance issues, coaching, and organizational development.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and policies through data analysis and benchmarking.
- Monitor and analyze HR data trends, providing reports to support strategic decision‑making, management initiatives and organizational growth.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures.
- Design and implement a company‑wide annual performance review process, including goal‑setting, evaluations, and feedback cycles.
- Train managers on effective performance management and documentation.
- Continuously improve the review process to support employee development and accountability.
- Administer all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, and ancillary benefits.
- Manage annual open enrollment, benefits communications, and employee education.
- Serve as the primary liaison with benefits brokers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with benefits‑related regulations (ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Analyze benefit offerings and recommend enhancements to remain competitive and cost‑effective.
- Oversee end‑to‑end payroll administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage all payroll‑related regulatory reporting, including tax filings, audits, and reconciliations.
- Lead the implementation of Paylocity, including system configuration, data migration, testing, training, and go‑live support.
- Manage the transition from UKG to Paylocity, ensuring minimal disruption to employees and payroll operations.
- Serve as the primary system administrator for Paylocity, continuously optimizing workflows, reporting, and employee self‑service functionality.
- Partner with Finance to ensure alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership experience, including the direct management of payroll and benefits administration.
- Hands‑on experience with HRIS/payroll implementations, preferably Paylocity.
- HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience in a multi‑state payroll environment.
- Demonstrated success in improving employee engagement or satisfaction metrics.
