Qualifications- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey information clearly.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Strong performance under high‑pressure, stressful situations, including handling guest objections and disputes.
- Initiative and ability to anticipate necessary actions.
- Composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Problem‑solving skills, preventing, identifying, and solving workplace issues.
- Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources and adapt appropriately.
- Good listening and clarifying skills to address coworker and guest concerns.

- Be familiar with the P.M.S. system used at the hotel.
- Monitor and follow up on staff cash overages and shortages.
- Follow and enforce all company policies.
- Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
- Assist in preparing staff schedules according to business forecasts, while maintaining wage control, productivity, and guest service scores.
- Provide assistance to the food & beverage, front desk, and housekeeping departments as needed.
- Assist in training new hires and current associates.
- Assist the FOM in ensuring staff follow company standards.
- Know and execute emergency procedures and locations of fire exits and extinguishers.
- Assist in monthly inventories, reconciliations, and follow up on guest complaints in food, beverage, and front desk areas.
- Answer guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Help maintain productivity levels at or above budgeted standards.
- Perform other duties and attend meetings or trainings as required.
- Access back‑of‑house areas and handle sensitive information.
- Document and manage cash handling, deposits, and bank balances.
- Maintain unarmed guest contact and safety; control access to sensitive hotel areas.
- Drive safely for business purposes.
- Maintain high level of trust, responsibility, reputation, and sound judgment.
