The Houseperson - Events is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast paced position.
Responsibilities- Set up and break down all meeting spaces with tables, chairs, water, etc.
- Maintain clear communication with event staff and team members.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest experience and safety.
- Ability to lift heavy items – 20 lbs or more
- Ability to stand/walk during an 8-hour shift
- Willing to work holidays and weekends
- Great communication skills – verbal and written
- Previous hotel/event setup experience preferred
