Night Auditor
We want you to be our next Night Auditor
. This role is perfect for someone who appreciates high standards of excellence and is dedicated to delivering top‑notch service in a dynamic environment. You must have experience as a night auditor, preferably with the brand.
As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in our hotel’s operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly during the overnight shift. You’ll be responsible for the accuracy of all hotel accounting processes and for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
What You’ll Do- Precision in Accounting: Ensure all hotel accounting tasks are processed accurately to protect our brand and assets from liability and fraud.
- Audit and Balance: Audit, balance, post, and report on all front desk, rooms, and food and beverage transactions.
- Daily Checklists: Complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all procedures are followed daily.
- Maximize Occupancy: Ensure hotel occupancy is optimized, and all guest accounts are accurately checked in.
- Run the Final Audit: Execute the night audit final after verifying the accuracy of all transactions.
- Guest Services: Attend to guest needs at the front desk, providing a management presence and support throughout the night.
- Food & Beverage Support: Prepare limited menu items for guest orders as needed.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Complete any additional tasks as required, including resetting the Food and Beverage P.O.S. and preparing the daily revenue summary.
- Friendly Service: Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a warm, friendly, and service‑oriented manner.
- Maintain Standards: Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
- Experience: Previous hospitality experience, preferably at Hyatt Place; brand experience is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles is essential.
- Availability: Must have open availability and be able to report on time for the scheduled 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift. Weekend availability is mandatory.
- Self‑Motivated: Ability to work effectively in a self‑managed environment.
