Job DetailsCompensation: Hourly base pay range is $13 per hour plus tips. Actual compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and location.
Work Schedule: Overnights.
Benefits: Eligibility for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine, and 401(k). Eligibility depends on job classification, tenure, and hours. Seasonal/temporary roles are not eligible for benefits.
SummaryThe Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, and assisting with luggage delivery and pickup where applicable during arrival and departure.
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests; use guest last names during interactions.
- Greet guests, follow Towne Park phone etiquette, and remain available in designated areas when not performing tasks.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, assist with bell services and luggage storage, and open doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions; deliver messages and guest amenities as requested.
- Shuttle guests to approved locations and explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; manage ticket information, key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim checks; track location on all key tags; collect revenue when applicable.
The total amount of time for all functions of the job is 100%.
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED.
Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance (as applicable).
Work Experience: One (1) month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Skills:
- Ability to read and write standard English and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic arithmetic related to handling money and time.
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems and time-based rates.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform parallel parking.
