Residences Housekeeper

Overview

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Residences Housekeeper to join the Residences Team at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead property. Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, the 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences) and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space with 3 food and beverage outlets (including the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining).

• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the private residences assigned to you and deliver Waldorf Astoria Atlanta-Buckhead service standards.
• Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all Residents and exhibit courtesy and respect at all times.
• Accept direction and follow through without complaint; promptly communicate repair needs and safety issues.
• Maintain a positive and outgoing personality; good written and verbal English language skills.
• Ensure Residences are cleaned to the standard demonstrated during training; thoroughly clean bathrooms, stabilize fixtures, and dry all areas after cleaning.
• Arrange toiletries neatly, replenish amenities and terry items; make beds to standard; fold clothing items in residents  bedrooms neatly.
• Maintain Residences including inside windows and mirrors; remove room service trays and ensure proper pick up; vacuum carpets and wipe furniture and baseboards.
• Recognize and report missing or damaged furniture, fixtures, or equipment; ensure electronic devices are working properly.
• Evaluate work assignments and prioritize workload according to resident requests; complete tasks with correct status and update resident history file as needed.

• Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience as a room attendant.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards exactly as demonstrated by supervisory staff during training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
