Job Profile Summary

SCP Health is seeking an experienced analyst who can provide analytical, technical, reporting, and operationally relevant expertise to monitor, improve and impact the overall performance of our value-based services. The scope includes bundle-based reimbursement programs with health plans, post-acute care, and telehealth services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can partner with and support our Value-Based Care Division leadership team, and collaborate with Finance and Quality.

This is initially an individual-contributor role requiring initiative, independence, and drive, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and support optimal team-based performance in new and emerging models of health care reimbursement. The role provides standard and ad-hoc business analyses for decision support, along with routine reporting of operational metrics and clinical results.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, analyze, summarize and synthesize internal and external clinical and operational data sets from hospitals or health care systems, payors and other key health care clients, to deliver actionable information to SCP executives and operational leadership.
  • Support executive clinical leadership with needed data, analytics, and reports using national and SCP data sets to improve clinical performance, processes, and value.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis related to value-based care initiatives. Develop, model, analyze, and track impact of value-based care/risk-based payment structures for SCP Health.
  • Serve as primary analytics liaison with our health plan and convener partners.
  • Create and maintain databases to track business performance, including data tables and registries.
  • Analyze data and summarize performance using summary statistical procedures.
  • Develop and analyze business performance reports (e.g., claims data, provider data, utilization data) and note deviations and anomalies.
  • Manage a suite of recurring reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and reporting tools (dashboards) to ensure stakeholders have robust, timely, and accurate data to drive strategic decision making and monitor performance, identifying adverse trends and opportunities for improvement.
