Responsibilities- Oversee daily clinical and operational activities for the assigned Surgical Services Perioperative Nursing Units.
- Apply management principles to the perioperative discipline and exercise independent judgment and decision making in areas of budget, personnel, patient services, and administrative or professional programs.
- Maintain twenty-four (24) hour accountability and coordinate communications, training, operations, and administrative activities for the perioperative cost centers.
- Act as a clinical resource for the Pre-Surgical Assessment unit, Chart Management Office, and the Pre-Testing units.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of five (5) years experience in perioperative nursing, with at least two (2) years supervisory, managerial, or other responsible nursing experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
