Mental Health Clinical Therapist

Recovery DBT runs a 14 week IOP program in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area dedicated to promoting and providing essential DBT skills and values to individuals on their journey to living life to its fullest.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Therapist at Recovery DBT. The role involves creating and implementing treatment plans, providing social work and case management support, conducting family therapy sessions, and focusing on mental health interventions using DBT principles.

• Conduct DBT individual and DBT group therapy sessions with clients
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Provide 24/7 DBT phone coaching for clients in crisis
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of clinical therapy
• Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in all aspects of therapy practice

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical therapist post graduation
• Ability to conduct DBT sessions and teach DBT skills groups
• Experience in conducting assessments and creating treatment plans based on client needs

• Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
