Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring skills.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital,

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts for a 13-week assignment,

• Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns,

• Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and IV insertion,

• Floating to Antepartum may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience required,

• At least 2 previous travel assignments in Labor & Delivery,

• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required,

• Competency in fetal heart monitoring, IV insertion, and circulating for C-sections,

Additional Information

• Returning employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility,

• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility,

• Holiday time off is limited; a maximum of 5 days if not near holidays and 3 days if near holidays,

• Only one holiday request for time off is allowed,

• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start,
