Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Community Outreach Specialist, based in Atlanta, GA, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Community Outreach Specialist will be responsible for building connections within the community, developing outreach strategies, managing projects, and creating content to support the agency's mission. The role involves organizing community events, identifying partnership opportunities, and fostering relationships to increase awareness of the agency's services.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Community Engagement, Community Outreach, and building lasting partnerships
- Excellent Communication and Writing abilities
- Experience in Project Management, planning, and executing community initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative
- Understanding of healthcare or social services is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, or a related field is a plus
- Proficiency with digital tools and social media is beneficial
