Job Summary

The Quality & Safety Improvement RN III plays a critical role in advancing patient safety and healthcare quality initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts, analyzing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance performance outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • U tilize databases, spreadsheets, and CQI tools to monitor and evaluate quality metrics.
  • Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards and organizational policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff in adopting best practices for patient safety and quality car e.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with databases, spreadsheets, or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, performance improvement, customer service, or a related field OR minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance/improvement or a directly related field.
  • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
  • Ex perience in healthcare quality improvement initiatives at a leadership or advanced practice level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Certifications (if any)
  • Relevant quality or safety certifications (e.g., CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred.
