Ameri Pro Health seeks a Paramedic to conduct patient care from an ambulance. Time permitting, the role includes daily supervision of EMS field operations in the absence of senior management, ensuring adequate zone coverage, compliance, and serving as a liaison with outside responding agencies and personnel.
Certification/Licensure Requirements- Georgia Paramedic certification in good standing
- Current National Registry certification {if required by state}
- Current certifications CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS
- Valid state-specific Drivers’ license
- Ventilator certified every three (3) years
- FEMA IS certs: IS-100; IS-200; IS-700; IS-800

The primary job is to function as a Paramedic conducting patient care from an ambulance. The position, time permitting, is responsible for the daily supervision of the EMS field operations in the absence of senior management. Ensures adequate zone coverage, compliance, and serves as Ameri Pro EMS’ liaison with outside agencies and personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Supervises day-to-day field operation employees in the absence of senior management
- Ensures field employees have the required equipment to perform their duties
- Serves as liaison for field staff to other departments (Training, CQI, Payroll, HR, Billing, Communication)
- Prepares appropriate reports in the absence of senior management
- Ensures adherence to Ameri Pro EMS policies and patient care protocols
- Evaluates performance, maintains attendance, and promotes professionalism
- Monitors deployment and efficiency; makes decisions concerning IFT, Mutual Aid, and out-of-town trips in absence of Senior Management
- Manages day-to-day scheduling
- Ensures TEFs are turned into Operations Supervisor
- Delivers RTF paperwork to on-duty employees and forwards to admin
- Oversees daily duties (truck cleaning, station duties, check-offs)
- First contact for OJIs and complaints; initiates investigations as needed
- Completes daily shift report
- Leads and trains new employees and students
- Demonstrates cost-effective and efficient management aligned with goals
- Responds to scenes with crews and coordinates ambulance transport during Mass Casualty Incidents until relieved
- Attends regular planning meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrates ability to safely lift and move patients; physical requirements apply
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years EMS experience preferred
- State-specific Paramedic license in good standing / current NREMT certification if required by state
- Current CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS
