Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Sonographer at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology, located in Macon, GA. The Sonographer will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including utilizing sonographic technology to assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions in pediatric patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, documenting findings, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures. The role supports excellence in patient care and requires adherence to healthcare compliance standards.
Qualifications- Expertise in Medicine and Radiology, with knowledge of the specific needs of pediatric patients.
- Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Familiarity with diagnostic techniques in Vascular imaging and other related fields.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree in an allied health-related field with a focus on diagnostic imaging is preferred.
- Previous experience in pediatric imaging or cardiology is an advantage.
