Overview
Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.

QualificationsEducation
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist
Work Experience
- No experience required
Licenses and Certifications
- Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license . If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, no license is Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- BCLS and ACLS required
- Must obtain RCIS/RCES within 24 months required
