** Responsibilities:**

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse, following established guidelines and standards.
• Perform duties in both front office and back office functions.

* Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or two years of related clinical experience if no formal education.

** Licensure/Certification:**

• BLS required.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or similar organization required.

* Experience:

• Minimum one year of experience in a medical office setting with relevant certification or two years of related clinical experience if no formal education.

* Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of clinical procedures and excellent patient care skills.
