Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Northside Hospital Leadership to administer and coordinate all operations to achieve and maintain clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the assigned Physician Practice and all its employees.
  • Coordinate all practice services including but not limited to patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, nursing, procedures, and other functions.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental operational throughput goals.
  • The job classifications of Practice Coordinator I, II, III share this common job description. The assignment of level is based on the score produced when scope data related to the physician practice.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in business, nursing, or a healthcare-related field.
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 1 year of leadership experience in business, nursing, or a healthcare-related field.
  • If LPN or RN, licensure required.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Physician practice or other ambulatory care setting management experience.
  • Computer knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite; implementation and maintenance of an electronic medical record.
