Northside Hospital is an award‑winning, state‑of‑the‑art facility continually expanding its services across Atlanta and beyond. The Clinical Care Associate provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients in the Mother‑Baby unit.
The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing physical hygiene procedures, and supporting the multidisciplinary patient‑care team. General clerical and reception duties, such as preparing and maintaining patient charts, transcribing physician orders, and entering data into the computerized patient care system, are also performed.
Required- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry OR Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) OR Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Health career Association (NHA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One (1) year of patient‑care experience as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Technician or other relevant acute, direct patient‑care experience
- Visual color acuity, depending on job functions in specific units
