Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday night shifts from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM

• 13-week assignment duration

• Minimum 2 years of experience within pathology laboratory specialty required

• ASCP (HT/HLT) certification required

• Must have successful completion of formal histology technologist training program or Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences

• Work in 705A Histology Lab performing histology technician duties

• Receive specimens from surgery and accession specimens into Cerner system

• Collect blocks from pathology assistant staff

• Process tissue, perform embedding, cutting, and staining of slides

• Work with pathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) specimens within the department
