Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a surgical ACE unit, requiring BLS/ACLS and documented Med/Tele experience.

Job Details

• Position is on a 32-bed Surgical ACE unit caring for adult and older adult patients,

• Patient ratio is 1:5, primarily managing trauma cases and patients on Heparin drips,

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week,

• No on-call requirements,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

• Specialty equipment includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Documented Med/Surg Telemetry experience with completed skills checklist,

• Prior experience with Epic EMR preferred,

• Experience in a hospital setting caring for adult and older adult populations,

Additional Information

• Trauma patient care and administration of all acute medications as ordered are expected responsibilities,

• Skilled nursing, rehab, or NICHE training is a plus,

• Must provide two supervisory references from similar experience within the past two years,

• First time travelers will be considered,
