DescriptionThe Children’s Behavioral and Mental Health Center is growing rapidly and seeking a Clinical Psychologist with experience in evidence‑based family therapy. The position is eligible for a faculty appointment through the Emory University School of Medicine. Candidates with expertise in adolescent family therapy, parent‑child relationships, disruptive behavior, functional conditions, psychosis, acute mood disorders, and comorbid autism are preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence‑based individual, group, and family therapy in the general outpatient clinic.
- Deliver culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental‑health nurse practitioners, behavioral and mental‑health therapists (LCSWs and LPCs), and nurse case managers to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Participate in training psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows, as well as other behavioral mental‑health trainees.
- Contribute to program development across acute clinical care settings.
- PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program.
- Completed an APA accredited child internship.
- Expertise in treating children and adolescents using evidence‑based treatment approaches.
- Licensed or licensed‑eligible in Georgia prior to employment; must obtain board certification within hospital timelines.
- Early career and experienced psychologists are encouraged to apply.
This full‑time position is split between direct clinical care and administrative time. Employment will be in the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute, an affiliation between Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The role requires in‑person work at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
