Job Title: Phlebotomist II - Float

Employment Type: Contract

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric, geriatric, and forensic specimens
• Clearly explain procedures and ensure patient comfort, trust, and confidence
• Verify patient identity and demographics; obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper specimen labeling
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain complete and accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Ensure specimens are labeled in the patient’s presence and match patient identifiers

• Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and in-office phlebotomy sites with minimal notice
• Arrive on time and fully prepared for each assigned location
• Adapt quickly to varying workflows, staffing needs, and site procedures
• Submit mileage for reimbursement per company policy

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

• Comply with company dress code, safety policies, and employee health standards

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience — Required; must include pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

  Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
