Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Title: Phlebotomist II - Float
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric, geriatric, and forensic specimens
- Clearly explain procedures and ensure patient comfort, trust, and confidence
- Verify patient identity and demographics; obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper specimen labeling
- Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain complete and accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
- Ensure specimens are labeled in the patient’s presence and match patient identifiers
- Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and in-office phlebotomy sites with minimal notice
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for each assigned location
- Adapt quickly to varying workflows, staffing needs, and site procedures
- Submit mileage for reimbursement per company policy
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and Everyday Excellence guiding principles
- Comply with company dress code, safety policies, and employee health standards
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience — Required; must include pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Note:
Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible. - Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
