Transactional Attorney - Finance Associate (2–8 Years) | Atlanta | $225K–$390K
A nationally recognized Am Law 200 firm is expanding its Financial Services practice and seeking a Transactional Finance Associate (2–8 years post-JD) to join its growing Atlanta office.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to work within a sophisticated finance platform supporting complex lending and leveraged transactions across a national client base.
What You’ll Work On:- Syndicated credit facilities
- Leveraged finance transactions
- Commercial lending & secured finance matters
- Drafting core loan documents & ancillary agreements
- Managing closings and transaction processes
Exposure to fund finance, ABL, private credit/direct lending, structured finance, renewable energy/project finance, real estate finance, or M&A-driven financings is highly valued.
What They’re Looking For:- 2–8 years of transactional finance experience at a reputable firm
- Strong understanding of secured lending fundamentals (collateral, perfection, covenants, EODs, guarantor structures)
- Proven ability to manage deal workflow and closing mechanics
- JD from a T50 or strong southeastern law school with solid academics
- Active GA bar (or ability to waive/seek admission)
- Am Law 200 firm with national practice strength
- Five dedicated finance verticals (securitization, syndicated loans, public bonds, real estate finance, renewable energy/project finance)
- Collaborative, team-oriented culture
- 5-day in-office model as the Atlanta office continues strategic expansion
- Competitive compensation: $225K–$390K
