We have a need for temporary help in our Actuarial Department.

Hours:

Between 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

16-25 hours per week during the school year depending on the applicant's schedule

30-40 hours per week in the summer

Location:

Alpharetta, GA

Duties in the Actuarial Department include:

• Performing tasks related to data preparation for analytic projects and/or product implementation
• Setup and formatting of pricing and/or reserving reports
• Testing and troubleshooting pricing and product implementation

During this internship, the student will gain:

• Fundamental concepts of insurance
• An understanding of actuarial roles and responsibilities
• Familiarity with basic actuarial tools including Excel and SQL Server.

Qualifications:

• Sophomore, junior, or senior
• Major in mathematics, actuarial science, risk management,or equivalent
• Basic familiarity with MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills
