Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Based in Atlanta, GA, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to support continued growth and increasing operational complexity for a nationwide organization that finances affordable housing development projects through flexible capital solutions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created role will serve as a key financial partner, helping elevate reporting, analytics, and compliance functions while enabling leadership to focus more strategically.

• Oversee consolidated financial reporting, including balance sheet and P&L preparation, ratio analysis, and investor compliance reporting.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, support audit coordination, and lead annual budgeting and variance analysis.
• Prepare management reporting packages and provide financial insights for executive leadership.

• Strong analytical capability beyond transactional accounting.
• Experience in corporate real estate, lending, or corporate financial institution environments.
• Familiarity with Quick Books Online, ERP systems, and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
