This senior leadership position defines and executes strategy for business intelligence, financial planning and analysis technology, and aggressive adoption of AI and machine learning to transform FP&A reporting and insights. The VP will centralize, standardize, and elevate the quality of financial reporting, drive a data‑driven culture, and enhance the predictive accuracy of FP&A models.
Key Responsibilities Strategy and Leadership- Develop and champion an AI FP&A reporting strategy, defining vision, roadmap, and change management.
- Oversee enterprise‑wide financial BI platforms, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and governance.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of BI specialists, financial analysts, and technology professionals.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Finance & Accounting teams and other leaders to prioritize initiatives and align AI/ML deployments with corporate strategy.
- Design and implement AI governance, ethical guidelines, risk management, and auditability standards for FP&A forecasting and budgeting.
- Lead selection, proof‑of‑concept, and enterprise deployment of AI/ML tools that integrate with ERP and financial systems.
- Drive predictive and prescriptive modeling for forecasting, budgeting, risk management, and capital allocation, establishing governance and auditability.
- Identify and implement RPA and AI solutions to automate repetitive, high‑volume financial tasks.
- Lead strategic use of AI to transform financial reporting into dynamic, interactive BI dashboards with centralized governance.
- Act as interpreter between technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring AI outputs are actionable and well understood.
- Strategic Vision:
Conceptualize and articulate long‑term vision for technology and data aligned with business goals. - Change Management:
Lead organizational change and drive adoption of disruptive technologies. - Communication:
Present complex technical and financial information to executive and board‑level audiences. - Results‑Oriented:
Deliver measurable business results through data and technology initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 12+ years of progressive Finance, BI, or Fin Tech experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership focused on advanced analytics, data science, or AI/ML deployment.
- Hands‑on leadership of AI/ML solution design, implementation, and successful adoption.
- Deep understanding of core financial processes: FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close.
- Expertise with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Oracle OTBI), data warehousing (Google Big Query), and programming languages (Python, R).
- MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
