SENIOR CORPORATE FINANCIAL ANALYST
Now recruiting on behalf of a large, global company who is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Corporate FP&A team. This Senior Corporate Financial Analyst supports financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities and partners closely with senior and divisional leadership to drive financial insight and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Capital spending planning and tracking (annual spend in excess of $100M)
- Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance through variance analysis and performance monitoring
- Serve as a key contributor to G&A budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles
- Develop and maintain monthly financial reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting for senior management
- Partner with division leadership as a visible and trusted finance resource
- Review monthly financial statements and participate in the close process to ensure accuracy
- Track business improvement initiatives and measure performance against established targets
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. (MBA/CPA/CMA helpful)
- 3-5+ years of experience of broad FP&A experience
- Exposure to full P&L reporting strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
- Advanced Excel proficiency along with experience with planning tools
- Preference given to those with experience doing Cap Ex planning and reporting
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to "tell the story" behind the numbers
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with business leaders
- High business acumen with an understanding of finance at both detailed and macro levels
- Track record of job stability and career progression
