Position: Associate / Senior Associate – Investments

Coro Realty Advisors is seeking an execution-oriented Associate or Senior Associate to join its investments team in Atlanta. This is an opportunity for a high-performing professional with an investment banking, capital markets, or institutional brokerage background to move to the principal side of real estate investing, gaining direct ownership exposure across acquisitions, dispositions, development, and capital markets initiatives.

The role offers hands-on deal execution across retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use assets throughout the Southeast, with direct collaboration alongside senior leadership. You’ll have front-row visibility with equity partners, lenders, and brokers—an ideal platform for someone ready to take the next step toward a leadership seat within a lean, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite acquisition, development, and recapitalization opportunities across multiple property types using Excel and Argus Enterprise.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, pitch decks, and internal memoranda supporting new investments and capital markets initiatives.
  • Support due diligence processes including market research, lease abstracting, financial and operational analysis, and coordination of third-party reports.
  • Conduct rent and sales comps, market studies, and demographic research to support investment theses.
  • From time to time, assist with asset management initiatives including business plan execution, capital budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Work directly with senior leadership (including the EVP of Capital Markets, President, and development principals) to evaluate transactions and structure JV or debt financing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, investors, and consultants to stay ahead of market trends and investment opportunities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal underwriting tools, dashboards, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in real estate investment banking, capital markets, investment sales, or principal investing.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills with the ability to build, audit, and interpret complex pro formas and partnership waterfalls.
  • Proficiency in Argus Enterprise (required).
  • Deep understanding of real estate finance concepts including IRR, equity multiples, and debt structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present materials to senior executives and capital partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active deals in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong professional presence and maturity when representing the firm externally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Preferred but not required:
  • MBA or CFA
  • Experience with retail or industrial assets.
  • Familiarity with Southeast U.S. markets.
  • Exposure to development underwriting or capital markets structuring.
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Performance-based annual bonus.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • Paid time off, company holidays, and other standard firm benefits.
