Investment
Analystto join our investment team. This entry-level role offers direct exposure to investment decision-making, capital deployment, and portfolio management while supporting Associates and senior investment professionals throughout theinvestmentlifecycle.
As an Investment Analyst at BIP Ventures, you will focus on analytical execution, research rigor, data integrity, and synthesis,supporting sourcing, diligence, portfolio management, and exit activities. You will work closely with Associates and senior team members to ensure that investment materials, financial analyses, and reporting are accurate,timely, and decision-ready.
Your work will directly inform investment decisions and portfolio company strategies.
All Analyst work is reviewed by an Associate or senior team member. Ownership and independence increase over time based ondemonstratedproficiencyand performance. This role isa three-yearprogramintended to build the skills, judgment, and execution mindsetrequiredfor progression to the Investment Associate level.
Location / Office: Atlanta (Buckhead); 4 x week in-office role.
SAMPLE RESPONSIBILITIESWhile the following responsibilities are representative, the role will evolve as skills and experience develop.
Sourcing & Deal Flow Support
- Update the deal pipeline in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support event preparation and outbound sourcing efforts by compiling target company lists, market maps, and key contacts
- Assist with inbound deal screening by populating standardized screening templates and clearly highlighting merits,risks, gaps, and key attributes for review
- Support the preparation and distribution of regular marketandsectorupdates
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry research, including ecosystem mapping and expert outreach coordination to support investment underwriting decisions
- Compile research materials such as industry reports, competitor analyses, product reviews, and benchmarking data
- Identify public and private comparable companies and collect performance data for analysis
- Format company financials into BIP-standard models and support financial diligence (e.g., retention, cohort trends, unit economics)
- Assist Associates with drafting and formatting Investment Committee memoranda and diligence materials
- Support monthly and quarterly portfolio company reporting processes
- Review portfolio company financials and KPIs and flag notable trends or variances (e.g., performance outliers, competitive activity)
- Maintain cap table documentation and support quarterly valuation processes
- Ensure deal terms, financial projections, and supporting materials are accurately entered into internal systems
- Assistwithfundreporting, documentation, and audit readiness
- Support exit readiness byassistingwith transaction comparable analyses for select portfolio companies
- Assist with exit diligence processes, including checklist management, data room organization, and diligence call coordination
- Ensure exit-related documentation is complete,accurate, and properly stored
- Partner with the investment team toidentifyopportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains
- Maintain high standards of documentation, organization, and data hygiene across all workflows

Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
