Senior Manager, Business Tax Services - Private Clients
Join KPMG US as a Senior Manager in our Business Tax Services practice to support private clients, including ultra‑high net‑worth individuals, trusts, estates, and family offices. You will be part of a dynamic team at one of the world's top tax firms, working with specialists and leveraging cutting‑edge technologies to deliver innovative tax solutions.
Responsibilities- Advise clients and provide high‑quality tax service and advice, driving the growth of KPMG’s private client tax practice.
- Review and analyze complex individual income tax, gift, estate, and trust returns for ultra‑high net‑worth individuals and family offices.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to ultra‑high net‑worth families on current and forward‑looking tax matters, including legislative and regulatory changes.
- Build, manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagement teams while maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Contribute to the growth, process improvements, and institutional knowledge of the family office tax practice.
- Mentor, coach, and manage a team of talented tax professionals.
- Minimum eight years of ultra‑high net‑worth tax experience in an accounting firm and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other approved credential. Candidates who do not hold a credential at hire must obtain one within one year.
- Demonstrated track record of business development and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams while developing and mentoring staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information.
