Senior Financial Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the financial foundation of a rapidly scaling multi-billion-dollar auto lending business. As a Senior Financial Analyst of IT, Projects, and Fixed Assets at Stellantis Financial Services, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and planning the company’s financial performance while ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards. You will look beyond the numbers to provide meaningful insights that ensure we meet or beat financial targets in our next phase of growth.

• Serve as dedicated finance resources to support Chief Info Officer and IT area in headcount, expense, and capital planning.
• Supports the day‑to‑day activities associated with Capital Project Spending and Fixed Asset tracking
• Manage the Capital Project life cycle which includes creating projects, loading budgets, researching budget variances, and analyzing spending activities for capitalization
• Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for use in the development of financial business decisions
• Drive the month end close in partnership with the business and accounting for IT areas.
• Utilize month end close results and business insights to develop and lead a 12-month rolling forecast.
• Assists with the annual budget process as well as periodic re‑forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams serving as their trusted financial advisor.
• Works closely with accounting management and senior management in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Identifies ways to promote efficiency within the financial reporting process through new templates, systems, and data relationships.
• Reconciles general ledger data to various sub‑ledger and system data.
• Assist in developing presentations to executive management, affiliates, and external entities.
• Develop appropriate planning and reporting tools using current and new systems.
• Identifying financial risks and recommending mitigation strategies, while also ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics as directed by management.
• Support business area as needed on special projects.
• Preserve organization’s value by being a good custodian of confidential information.

• Specific IT Finance background, including but not limited to labor and project accounting
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance Analysis or Accounting.
• Advanced Excel including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism, while effectively multitasking and prioritizing diverse tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, along with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA;
  Dallas, TX;
  Detroit, MI;
  Houston, TX;
  Phoenix, AZ.

• MBA or CPA Preferred
• Strong and extensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in the auto finance industry or lending industry
• Proficiency of ERP and Financial Reporting applications.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
