Job OverviewThe Advisor Financial Services – Pricing Reporting and Reconciliation will work closely with MBFS Finance & Controlling, and Risk teams and the MBUSA PC and Van Sales Operations teams and MBUSA F&C on the following key functions:
- Report on and reconcile MBFS USA interest rate pricing metrics (e.g., Standard Rate Pricing, Subsidized Pricing, and Bill Rate Pricing) and on Financial Services acquisition metrics (e.g., MBFS acquisitions, penetration rate, financing product mix, and Lease/Finance contribution); provide regular updates to the MBFS and MBUSA leadership team to explain variances between forecasted and actual results.
- Develop analyses/presentations supporting the interest rate setting process and prepare/deliver presentations that support MBFS pricing/program decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Lead efforts to streamline and automate the forecasting process, including development and ongoing support of management dashboards supporting the pricing and FS Acquisitions reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Cross-train on the FS Standard Rate Pricing process and serve as a backup to the Advisor, FS Standard Rate Pricing.
- Lead the monthly effort to report on and reconcile the MBFS bill rate and L/F contribution process on behalf of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services for MBUSA PC and Vans. This includes supporting program ideas and quantifying the impact of changes in bill rates, volumes related to standard rates set by MBUSA PC and Van and their +/- impact to MBUSA's monthly program spend.
This may also include ad hoc analyses each month for the pricing committee that may include impacts from changes in guidelines like markups, flats, etc. - Create monthly reporting and reconciliations for MBFS and MBUSA management related to expected vs actual FS Acquisitions metrics. This will include insights related to how variances may impact future bill rates and volume needs.
- Work closely with the MBFS F&C and Risk teams to review acquisition quality, creating monthly reporting for MBFS and MBUSA to ensure that the product/financing mix impact is fully understood in relation to the potential risk impact to the MBFS portfolio and to future bill rates to MBUSA.
- Lead the ongoing dealer pricing process for the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Wholesale, Capital Loan, and Real Estate portfolios. This includes supporting the Sales, National Account, and Dealer Credit teams in their analysis of potential and currently dealer loans, ensuring the proper cost assumptions are applied and that we achieve our required returns.
- Cross-train on FS interest pricing process and step in as a backup when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant fields
- Must have 5+ years (total) experience in financial services functions (preferably with MBFS)

- Cognos, Tableau, Power
BI, Alteryx and/or Data warehouse experience preferred
- Business Analysis/Reporting, Financial/Risk Forecasting
- Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule
- Travel domestically and internationally
- Work evenings, weekends & holidays when required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
