Job SummaryThe primary focus of a Sr. Client Service Specialist is to provide excellent follow-through and operational support to the Wealth Management team in servicing and delivering on the needs of high net worth clients. You will have a direct impact on the client experience and be vital to the success of the organization, working with a dynamic team to support client service delivery, using strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day operations and administrative support for one or more Wealth Advisors, including handling inbound calls and email requests, scheduling, and gathering client data for ongoing service processes.
- Ensure all paperwork and procedures for client requests are completed and comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal operations to fulfill client requests.
- Manage client deposits and maintain data integrity across systems, updating records as necessary.
- Research client issues in cooperation with back-office operation partners.
- Assist with onboarding of new clients, processing transfer paperwork, and setting up new accounts in coordination with the wealth management team, custodians, and Envestnet, where appropriate.
- Guide and train peers on new tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support client service and operations.
Education:
High School diploma with a Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Experience: Five plus years of job-related experience; financial services industry required; prior experience in a customer service-focused office environment is helpful.
- Certifications: Notary designation a plus.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining client focus and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior use of a CRM system (Salesforce) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Working ConditionsProfessional office environment with daytime hours; duties include standing and sitting at a workstation.
CompensationActual base pay within the range depends on location, experience, education, skills, and licenses/certifications. This position includes eligibility for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ programs. Pay range: $60,775 – $71,500 USD.
