Sr. Tax Manager

Our client is a high-growth, global fintech organization powering digital payments rating across multiple continents with a rapidly evolving business model, they are building a best-in‑class tax function to support complex transactions, new product launches, and continued expansion across the Americas.

This is a senior-level, advisory-focused tax role with significant visibility and influence. The position will serve as the primary US tax subject‑matter expert, partnering closely with finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders while overseeing external advisors.

• Act as the primary US tax lead and trusted advisor to regional finance, legal, and commercial teams
• Provide hands‑on US tax advisory support across funding structures, withholding tax, and earnings stripping (163(j)) considerations
• Support corporate restructurings, including US entity consolidations, Section 351 transactions, and consolidated return planning
• Advise on new business initiatives, including regulated financial structures and transaction flow redesign
• Partner with the business on Americas expansion efforts, including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil (greenfield launch support)
• Oversee outsourced US tax compliance and manage relationships with external advisors
• Coordinate US GAAP tax inputs and collaborate with the global tax team on IFRS consolidation and reporting initiatives
• Contribute to broader group tax projects, including automation, Pillar Two, CbCR, and cash tax planning
• Provide informal mentorship to a junior US tax team member in a flat, collaborative structure

• CPA strongly preferred (JD/CPA combination a plus)
• 8–10+ years of progressive tax experience with a strong US corporate and international tax advisory background
• In‑house experience within fintech, financial services, or similarly fast‑paced, complex organizations
• Comfortable operating across multiple tax disciplines rather than a narrow specialization
• Experience partnering with external advisors and managing outsourced compliance
• Strong communication skills and confidence working cross‑functionally and with senior stakeholders
