ASAP is hiring a Cost Manager / Project Controls Manager on behalf of our client to support energy and utility projects located in Midtown Atlanta. This role is responsible for overseeing cost control, forecasting, accruals, change management, and financial reporting for active projects. The position works closely with vendors, discipline leads, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and strong financial performance.

• Gather, log, and summarize project cost and performance data for reporting and analysis
• Prepare monthly accruals, project forecasts, and cost variance explanations
• Review and process change orders in accordance with client approval procedures
• Develop payment applications and review and facilitate approval of project invoices>
• Develop and maintain detailed cost profiles
• Support the annual budgeting and planning process
• Coordinate with vendors and discipline leads to collect and validate project progress data

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in energy and/or utilities project controls or cost management
• Strong experience with cost forecasting, accruals, change management, and invoice review
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Must be local to the Atlanta area and within driving distance
• Ability to work on-site in Midtown Atlanta four days per week (Monday–Thursday)
