Senior Workday Solution Architect

Job Description

• The Sr. Workday Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing scalable Workday Financials solutions.
• This role focuses on aligning Workday Financials modules, integrations, reporting, and compliance frameworks with business requirements while supporting large-scale ERP migrations and financial process automation.

• Active Workday Financials certification including Core Financials, Banking and Settlements, Revenue Management, Grants Management, Accounting Center, and Contracts to Cash.
• Extensive experience with Workday Financials solution design and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools and cross-functional modules.
• Proven experience ensuring compliance with financial and grant regulations.
• Strong ability to design secure, compliant, and scalable financial systems.

• More than ten years of ERP implementation experience.
• More than seven years of experience dedicated to Workday Financials solutions.
• Experience leading ERP migrations from legacy systems to Workday.

• Facilitate requirements confirmation, conduct gap analysis, and provide solution options.
• Architect scalable and efficient Workday Financials solutions aligned to business needs.
• Design, develop, and implement Workday Financials modules including Core Financials, Banking and Settlements, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Contracts to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Grants, and Projects.
• Optimize grants management processes including pre and post award, effort certification, subawards, salary cap, and award budget plans.
• Collaborate with implementation partners to optimize integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, APIs, and analytics tools.
• Identify and implement Extend solutions to address functionality gaps and improve efficiency.
• Ensure financial compliance and data governance through security frameworks and foundation data models.
• Lead ERP migrations from legacy platforms to Workday.
• Develop and automate workflows for payroll reconciliation, revenue recognition, expense processing, and subaward tracking.
• Guide the creation of advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Improve financial visibility and decision-making through robust reporting frameworks.

• Experience in multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments in the public sector.
• Experience designing and implementing Accounting Center solutions for cash-basis reporting and financial allocations.
• Experience with ERP migrations from legacy platform.
