Job DescriptionThe Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) Summer Analyst Program offers exposure across investment banking disciplines. Summer Analysts sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and investment banking products through on‑the‑job training. Within each group, analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.
Analysts contribute to new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution. They work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities, meet with and present to prospective clients, and draft internal and external documents and marketing materials used in transactions. Analysts often lead transaction execution and collaborate daily with clients, attorneys, investors, and senior professionals. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
This role focuses on REIB and offers exposure to transactions such as IPOs, follow‑on offerings, public debt issuances, and advisory assignments, alongside partners in Real Estate Corporate Banking. REIB’s client base includes public REITs, institutional real estate funds, and national real estate developers and operators.
LocationTruist Wholesale Banking is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity is specifically for the Real Estate Investment Banking group and based in Atlanta, GA.
Minimum Requirements- Scheduled graduation of December 2027 or May/June 2028
- Overall GPA of 3.0
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Business major
- Prior completion of accounting or finance coursework
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
