EssentialFunctions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Assist Valuation Services in verifying and processing vendor invoices, accounting, and collection of fees for assignments.
- Oversee files on all approved appraisers, including licenses, E&O, qualifications, and sample work.
- Manage the You connect workflow: orders, bidding, engagement, reviews, evaluations, and appraisals.
- Monitor and update appraisal and evaluation orders, ensuring timely delivery to each department.
- Provide training for bank personnel involved in valuation processes, including You connect and real‑estate valuation techniques.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties such as property inspections, tax appeal assistance, and other tasks as required.
- Offer general administrative and secretarial support: typing, correspondence, communication with internal customers, and problem resolution.
- Seek continuous improvements to efficiency, accuracy, reports, and procedures.
- Assist other Valuation Services team members with special projects.
- Manage a large volume of operational, relationship, and transaction‑oriented tasks.
- Self‑motivated and able to operate independently.
- Proficient typing skills with speed, accuracy, and minimal errors.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of USPAP, FIRREA, and Interagency Guidelines.
- Understanding of collateral valuation techniques used to value real estate.
- Strong PC skills in Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with real‑estate data web resources such as GSCCCA, Costar, Loop Net, Realty Rates, MLS, tax assessor websites, GIS, etc.
- Ability to handle a variety of people at all levels.
- 1–3 years of experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Appraiser certification preferred.
