Senior Treasury Consultant – Specialty Sectors (Food, Consumer & Agribusiness)

Role OverviewAs a Treasury Consultant, you will serve as a senior sales advisor managing a portfolio of commercial clients, driving revenue growth, and delivering comprehensive treasury solutions. The role requires strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and collaboration across internal teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients by identifying treasury needs and delivering tailored solutions. Achieve/exceed key objectives and goals for sales production, new relationships, cross‑selling and portfolio growth.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to deepen existing customer relationships and convert prospective clients through strategic account planning and joint calling.
- Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations to support new business opportunities and deepen TPS relationships.
- Conduct regular client business reviews, address issues, and provide insights on liquidity management, payment optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze financial, company, and industry data to determine clients’ needs for proper structuring of the bank’s treasury products and services.
- Partner with Service and Onboarding teams to ensure seamless client implementations and ongoing support.
- Monitor portfolio performance, analyze data, and provide insights to drive client success.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting to track performance and client activity on Salesforce.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance, mitigating risk and maintaining service standards.
- Attend industry forums and community events to enhance the bank’s brand and stay updated on market trends.
- Coach Treasury Advisors and Portfolio Managers on skills required to progress to the Treasury Consultant role.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in sales and treasury management, financial operations or risk management in a corporate or banking environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. - Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
- CTP preferred.
Salary: $ – $ (Salaried). Commissions may be available.
