Financial Solutions Advisor II - Atlanta Cumberland

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals, including triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products.
Employees in this role are required to register for the SAFE Act and complete the related background check and registration process within 60 days of hire. All required licenses and trainings must be obtained and maintained.
- Work with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan that incorporates brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or a Series 63/65 in lieu of Series 66 with a course completion or passing the Series 66 exam within 60 days).
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- At least one year of experience working in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Strong goal‑setting and execution skills, with a proven track record of achieving objectives.
- Ability to build and nurture strong client relationships.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to get things done within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging all types of clients.
- Efficacious time and capacity management in a fast‑paced environment.
- Thoroughness and thoughtful application of regulatory due diligence to daily activities and long‑term strategies.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- At least three years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
