Position

Manager – Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence

Team

Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) provides financial and accounting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, transaction analytics, ETS advisory, and related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office, and corporate clients worldwide. TAG operates in multiple U.S. cities and supports private equity and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side engagements. The team assesses target quality of earnings, cash flows, working capital, and key drivers, and engages in discussions with management and advisers.

Responsibilities
  • Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with Managing Directors and senior team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update the budget and fee analysis as appropriate.
  • Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Review and evaluate project databooks prepared by team members.
  • Generate a full due diligence report.
  • Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding engagement matters (e.g., billing, status updates, scope of procedures, scope changes, request lists).
  • Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
  • Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and manage problem resolution.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Associate and Senior Associates, including teaching training classes as applicable.
  • Gather conflict check information and coordinate with Managing Directors to set up engagement codes and requirements.
  • Assist Managing Directors and Senior Directors in sales and business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or related major
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining one
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
  • High proficiency in Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings

The base salary is $160,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
