• Support the design and management of employee benefit plans for a complex client base, including plan analysis, design, cost mitigation, vendor procurement, benchmarking, and related requests.
• Serve as project manager and day‑to‑day contact for clients, coordinating work with staff in other KPMG US offices and practices.
• Maintain client relationships, technical depth and breadth in areas of proficiency; lead the ongoing development and career growth of junior team members.
• Manage risk and financial performance of engagements by supporting compliance, billing, collections, and budgeting.
• Identify, build, and deepen client relationships; present technical recommendations to clients and prospective clients.
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.

• Minimum five years of recent experience in employer benefit strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
  Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or completion of one of the approved advanced degrees or professional designations (MBA, ASOA, ENR ACT, FSA, CBP, CCP, CEBS, CPP or GPHR, etc.). If a candidate does not possess at least one approved designation when hired, they must obtain one within one year.
• Experience leading multiple large client engagements and service teams; prioritizing multiple projects.
• Deep industry knowledge across benefits, regions, industries, carriers and more; consulting firm experience, mental health parity, global benefits, human resources credentials and benefits administration technology are a plus.
• Strong analytical, consultative, and project‑management skills; ability to review quantitative work and develop junior staff; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work at client sites and travel up to 15%.

California salary range: $95,600–$208,500. Additional salary ranges are available by city through  KPMG offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and robust personal well‑being benefits to support mental health. We provide Personal Time Off per fiscal year and holiday calendars, with additional breaks around year‑end and July 4th.
