The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Private Event Supervisor.

• Supervise and facilitate all aspects of day‑of event execution and guest relations, including room setup and floor plans, housekeeping, maintenance, temperature control, A/V and lighting, kitchen readiness, security, damage prevention, food and beverage service, and staff.
• Facilitate multi‑vendor load‑in and load‑out of the building using multiple entrances, including A/V, entertainment, decor, floral, caterer, beverages, event design, etc.
• Serve as the Fox Theatre representative to the client, vendors, and guests.
• Facilitate an emergency response as necessary, coordinating with police, security, and maintenance personnel, including alarm systems, first aid, evacuation, shelter‑in‑place, and communication with life safety, fire codes and occupancy.
• Other duties as directed.

• Must have experience in event management or coordination.
• Must have basic knowledge of building safety standards and protocol.
• Must have ability to multi‑task.
• Must have ability to make sound decisions amidst changing conditions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must have exceptional guest or customer service skills, including clear communication and positive attitude.
• Must have ability to be proactive.
• Must have excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic A/V systems is preferred.
• Experience in crowd management preferred.

• Regular periods during which there is continuous physical exertion required.
• Must be able to traverse the building, including moving between multiple floors.
• Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder.
• Must be able to lift materials or equipment, some of which is heavy or awkward.

• Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment background check.
