They are seeking an experienced CMT Project Manager to lead and manage construction materials testing projects across the Atlanta region. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction materials testing projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee field and laboratory testing operations, including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate testing.
- Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior staff, promoting professional development and quality standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards for materials testing.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- MSI certification (Materials Testing Inspector) is highly desirable.
- Experience managing multiple CMT projects in transportation, infrastructure, or commercial construction.
- Familiarity with advanced testing technologies and reporting software.
